Hi, my name's Steve. I'm a photographer, a perfectionist, and a fan of Starbucks hot chocolates.
I started out photographing in nightclubs. Not to make a living, but just so that I could hang out with my friends, listen to music and take photographs of all the amazing people I met. I loved waking up the next day, seeing all my pictures being used for everyone's new facebook profiles. That was a pretty cool feeling.
A couple of years later and my passion had led to my facebook page having over 10,000 likes. Through this, I began getting enquiries to shoot other things. Before long, I was shooting all kinds of events. Photographing balls at Oxford University through to working with National Companies. One of these jobs led to an opportunity to get into music photography.
Quite quickly, I was shooting artists like Bastille and Rudimental. One of my favourite experiences was photographing DJ Fresh backstage just after he had won an award for hottest track of the year and my picture was requested by a national magazine. It was around this time, that I started to take things pretty seriously.
I never imagined that I would become a wedding photographer but then friends that I had made though my photography started getting married. It's been an amazing ride. I continued to push myself, to learn more, to become more creative. I love to find things that inspire me. I love to find new ways to express how a moment feels, and I believe photography enables me to do this.
I feel lucky that I have the chance to live this life. I love meeting new people, and travelling to new places. In my down time I enjoy waterskiing and can often be found down at the lake.
